Normally, we wouldn't be so quick to hand down a major honor like this, but with just a few hours left in the show we feel pretty confident. So, on behalf of Joystiq and the Joystiq network, we're pleased to present Running With Scissors, creators of Postal 3 with the coveted Weapon of the Show award for ... badger on a harness.

Confused? Here's the basic premise: It's a badger on a harness, and when you point it at people it wrecks their shop until they die from it. Congratulations, Running With Scissors, enjoy it in good health.

Personally I would have given it to the rocket launcher thing you can make in Fallout 3 that shoots junk.... namely teddy bears

I think the best weapon at the show was the wiimote and nunchuck during Wii Music drum playing. You could totally bludgeon a mother with that thing.

And let me guess: when one cycles through the weapons, this little number is pulled out of no where along with the hand gun, rifle, rocket launcher, etc? Pulling a bunch of guns out of a jacket makes sense, but you're telling me this guy is running around w/ a badger on a harness inside his jacket? Now that's just silly! :-)

As funny as this is, and as cool as Fallout's Teddy Bear Launcher was, I think the prize should have gone to Mercenaries 2's Tactical Nuke. Pure awesomeness.
