Activision officially announces Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion

So after a trailer leaked out earlier today Activision has now confirmed Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion. The "Fusion" part of the title is apparently pretty literal with characters mixing their powers to create new, doubly rad powers.

It's official, now what do you have to say about it?

A while back people on Digg were speculating what game were expected to release with confirmation of games that didnt get shown lol.

Yes, because Iron Man couldn't add a flame thrower attachement to his armor. We all know flames are better than repulsor rays.

The last one was great if you ask me (The achievements were hard tho') but I agree we need more gameplay videos.

I hope Dead pool, Apocalypse and Onslaught are playable.

The point of playing a Marvel or other established superhero game is to play as your favorite specialized characters from the comics/movies. I don't understand why there is a need to "Fuse" these characters together. Especially when, if this game is to be similar to the last game, you have four of these heroes fighting at the same time. Perhaps there will be more of a focus on single-player instead of multi-player, which I also dont agree with. The best part about the last games of this type were playing with friends.

Why in the hell would I want to fuse powers together? If I want to play as ron Man I want HIS powers!!

Every time I see Super Hero with the tiny little "TM" after it, I get completely distracted from whatever I was watching/reading.

Damn them all!

Also, the teaser sucked. Hopefully this one will have no water levels. The water level was the pooh. I mean, what's the point of heroes who can fly when you are swimming?

I would prefer another X-Men Legends and separate the various Marvel characters rather than have a handful of them randomly thrown together.

Yeah, was it Bendis who said it was going to be based on Civil War? I thought that sounded pretty sweet. They should just make a Marvel game-of-the-year based around each year's big event... Secret Invasion would make a great game.
