Since PS3 is getting 2.40 soon, it's going to be interesting to see how these multiplatform battles turn out. Granted I don't think much will change sales wise but what I mean is between the small hardcore gamer communities.

Let's pretend that both games run the same (as they're supposed to), what features will Live have after PS3's 2.40 that people can say makes it a million times better? I personally can't think of any off the top of my head. Also I read on the 1up boards that apparently a lot of the people playing online games on PS3 are quiet during the game and I cannot stress enough how much I'd like the Live crowd (for the most part) to have their jaws broken. Add in achievements for sad people like myself, and many of my friends slowly buying PS3's as well and I don't see a current reason why I should play multiplatform games on 360 anymore.

Keep in mind I said current because I don't know what future updates the two systems will put out.

The problem for PS3 Tmac is that since XBL has had those features since day 1 (this generation at least), most people have built up their friends list on the 360 already.

My 360 list is full (100 people), whereas on the PS3 side I think I have 6 or 8 people or something since I was always buying multiplat games on the 360 before, so now that everyone I play with normally is on the 360 side, I'll keep going that way for multiplat.

That, and the fact that most (not all of course, but most) bigtime multiplayer games are FPS games and most people heavily prefer the 360 for those...

With in-game XMB though, fighting games will definitely get the call on the PS3 side for me since the PS3 d-pad >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 360 d-pad. Maybe sports games too.

If MS wants to spend money to make it a timed exclusive its within their rights to do so and I as a 360 owner fully support it.

sony can feel absolutely free to do what it wants to do in order to keep a game exclusive or w/e. As long as its legal.

Just in case anyone thinks that Capcom gave into the demands of the crazy guy above and made the game more multiracial, if you look back at the second trailer of the game, there are a lot of either arab or white villagers. It was like that from the beginning.
