We're not certain if Mario Kart Wii's new "Galaxy Colosseum" stage is actually downloaded or simply unlocked from the game disc by downloading the latest Tournament update -- either way, you could argue it's "DLC." But what's its value as additional Kart content? If the stage disappears when the tourney expires on June 9, then the freebie ranks as negligible (currently, Galaxy Colosseum is only playable through the online Tournament mode). Even if it's archived in a single-player mode, the timed minigame (knock four Spiky Topmen out of the arena using mushroom bursts as fast as you can) is an incredibly dull use of a Super Mario Galaxy crossover. Keep trying, Nintendo. And we'll keep dreaming.

This is my third favorite, after Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 64 in first and second, respectively.
For me, it goes DS>64>Wii>DD!!>Super>Super Circuit
Given the insane blandness of the stage in question, i would err on the former.

As for Kakiray, I doubt he even has a Wii; he's just trolling.

Believe me though, I am hoping that they do so they can get some REAL DLC for Smash Bros.

This is why the Wii was so cheap from the start ... It really did not come with anything extra out of the box ... Much like the 360 you will have to add on everything as an external part ... However, I do give Nintendo credit for including built in wireless
However, the point is moot because SD cards larger than 2GB use the SDHC interface, which is physically different from normal SD. As per my own tests, Wii cannot physically read cards that use SDHC, not even one that is 32MB. This means Wii will NEVER be able to use more than 2GB via the SD slot.
That being said, you can pick up a 2GB SD card for about $10.
One also has to wonder if John has a PSP and thinks the Memory Pro Ex Alpha Upper Duo are "good value".
Considering my 360 DLC takes up 6gb, with all them HD textures, 5.1 audio blah blah. Then a 4gb SD card (£16) for the Wii is going to be perfect, especially when you consider that only a couple of games even have DLC.
Don't buy that 4GB SD card. Everyone keeps making this mistake. It will not work! 2GB is the max.

2.- put em on some certain folders inside the sdcard
3.- plug the sd card on the wii
4.- play em!!
Is that much of a hassle for you???
Man, keep yourself out of the homebrew scene, you will die by only reading the instruction then

Nintendo allows you to use a common storage with SD cards, how are they nickel and diming you if you're not buying the memory cards from them? (which you can, but I'm sure most people don't) Isn't that a good thing? Granted the SD cards can't hold a lot of memory, but it's a good idea. Go buy an overpriced 360 hard drive and give money to Microsoft before telling me Nintendo is nickel and diming me jackass.
And true fanboys only get a 360 or a PS3? how stupid are you? Nintendo fanboys have been around way longer than XBoxes or Playstations and are wise in the ways of fanboydom, how do you think the NDF defends the Wii so well? You need to earn more stripes before making statements like that newb
Personally I have rather enjoyed these tournament challenges. I don't expect to be wowed by them, but they're nice as a way to change up the experience a little bit.

Already we have Super Mario Galaxy (kind of) crossing over in Mario Kart Wii, how about turning the Super Smash Brothers Brawl stages to 3D (I'm not familiar with this game yet, it's STILL not available in Australia!) and using them in Super Mario Galaxy? Or perhaps the other way around?
Just a thought.
