New cities? Pfft! How about an entire state?! While rummaging through the Rockstar Social Club, a GTAForums poster uncovered the plane ticket pictured above (full view). Looks like Niko is headed to the fine state of San Andreas, famous for its lowriders and piping hot coffee. Whether it's the stuff of fan fiction or a not-so-subtle hint of content to come, your guess is as good as ours, but the ticket does rekindle last month's rumor that the exclusive GTA IV DLC for Xbox 360 will feature "new downloadable cities." What's curious is that the flight isn't destined for one of San Andreas' specific airports, but rather the state itself. What could it mean? Well, for one, that you'd need a bigger hard drive.
Alternate theory: The "San Andreas" on this plane ticket could be a reference to the original San Andreas, a top-down city based on San Francisco, from the first Grand Theft Auto.

I will have plenty to play aside from this, and I am content with waiting for L.A. Noire, the new franchise from Rockstar that is PS3 exclusive, and of course
GTA5 which more than likely will be PS3 only.
You realize that GTAIV is selling better on the 360 right? Do you really think Rockstar would turn away from the larger user base and guaranteed sales? Not bloodly likely.
Ok ok, cheap shot I know. I just couldn't resist.
You might be on to something here. A New IP **Exclusive** on PS3!!!

His words not mine.
Rockstar also said about a year ago that they wanted to do a game JUST for the PS3 so that they can take FULL advantage of the Cell. Again, Rockstar's words not mine.
According to Fernando, the Wii version is selling the most.
Yes the 360 version is selling more, there are 5mil+ more 360's out there. However the PS3 version is more than holding its own, and has sold more than enough for Rockstar to take notice.
whoopsie
I know that you're probably a spoiled console owner who never played a JRPG but as a long PC user I can assure you that contrary to popular beliefs, switching discs will NOT give you cancer or cause your dick to rot away and fall off. It's completely safe, trust me.
It won't come in at 10 gigs usning previous textures in the game stuff that's already stored on the DVD9 it'll probably come in at 2 or 3gb's at the most.
I say a 1gb or less would be enough to recreate San Andreas if you really think about it...
If I had to guess though, I'd say that the DLC will definitely be somewhere you need to take a plane ride too. Why? Because Rockstar has modeled in planes, with high resolutions, and they've gone so far as to make an entire airport that is otherwise seemingly pointless. I was kinda shocked when I went up in a helicopter and discovered that the planes were actually 3D, with physics of their own, and they could fly within the GTAIV world. That's ALOT of trouble to go through if there weren't even plans to let you fly them at some point (or fly in them).
Whatever, we'll find out. If this is true though, THIS is the DLC that won't be coming to PS3 =P

If the rumors are about the DLC being cities, wouldn't it be cool if one was San Andreas and the Other Vice City?

That is the MOST childish comment I've read on this site, and that's saying a lot!
I've actually thought of sadly swapping my PS3 with a 360 but since my brother paid for most of it, I got a good deal anyways.

So size really isn't a factor in why they paid so much.
