Forever Blue Japanese box revealed
The official box art for the Japanese release of Forever Blue has just been unveiled. A few vague details were leaked earlier this month confirming the non-game will be exploration-based as you swim the ocean cataloging and photographing the sea life you encounter. With the little blue Wi-Fi logo, the box also confirms online multiplayer exploration. Although a North American or European release has not been mentioned, we're still filing this one under the "Japan gets all the cool boxes" category.

Anyways...
This game looks pretty cool even if it just a glorified pokemon snap. Maybe it's because I scuba dive, but I think it would pretty sweet to swim with a whale shark on a 43" plasma (even if the wii isn't high def).

In real life yes, in a video game... boring.
This game is actually just a port/rehash (big surprise) of an old PS2 game called "Everblue 2". Even the developers are the same (Arika).
Everblue 2 has a rating of 59/100 at Metacritic.

I don't think the game would appeal to my tastes at all, but I'm not going to jump out screaming and shouting how shit it is without playing it. Anyone who does so, I feel is just trying to look cool and coming out looking more like an ass.

Why wait? Play now!

Personally, I'll wait on reviews. Before I either write it off or hype it up...
Unless, of course, HOT DOLPHIN!

...demands someone with a name "SuperMario21". Uh oh.
Everblue and Everblue 2 were garbage, as witnessed by dozens of reviews. Forever Blue is pretty much the same game with waggle controls. Ok, maybe they'll do the trick (as usual) and we're looking at a 90+ game.
For now, I'm cautiously optimistic about the whole thing.
